The Nicolai Special windscreen is plugged directly onto the microphone. Special sound permeable plastic construction, firmly connected with a fur from synthetic fibers.

Specially adapted to the design of the microphone. The diameter of the flexible opening is larger than the diameter in the inside of the windshield. Inside length: 50mm

This windshield creates a volume of air around all sound entry openings. For maximum protection against wind noise and minimal influence in frequency response and directivity of the microphone.

A fiber length of 8cm offers around 10% better protection from wind compared to the 2cm version.
When used on a video camera, fibers could get in front of the lens. In this case please choose the 2cm version.
